Brand Collaborative and Merchandising

In a crowded and changing landscape, grocery retailers need to differentiate and want to be recognized for their efforts towards reduction of single use plastics. However, their time is limited. Additionally, more and more consumers are looking to align their purchasing with companies who embrace sustainable practices.

Singer Sustainability collaborated in the developmental stages of building a comprehensive program, carefully vetting and curating top-selling zero-waste products from a cooperative of brands into a single attractive and attention-getting merchandising solution. The program is launching as the Rethink Collaborative.

This program will help retailers enter the zero waste space with more efficiency, greater impact and optimized sales, achieved through having only one point of contact to deliver multiple top-quality products. Consumers will benefit from having multiple products to choose from and learning about the options for plastic-free, low-waste living through a planogramed display of high-quality, complementary items.

Consumer Education Program and Retail Hub

A well-known and growing B Corp with a significant international database of conscious consumers is seeking to add value to its customers by inspiring them to make changes in their lifestyle to minimize their single use.

In partnership with one of its associates, Singer Sustainability is currently developing a comprehensive program which would include rolling out a branded education campaign across multiple platforms as well as a retail hub for reducing single use products — the Amazon of sustainability. This involves assembling and working with leading brands to promote their zero waste products, while generating an additional revenue stream for the brands and the company through affiliate sales.

This program provides a triple win for the client, its customers and the participating brands, impacting the triple bottom line and significantly moving the needle on consumer behaviour by offering ongoing steps for meaningful, long-term behavior change.
