GLO, which stands for Global Learning Opportunities, is a mission-driven company committed to improving education opportunities around the globe.

They have chosen to finance their mission, at least in part, by selling a line of eco-friendly pens and donating a significant portion of the proceeds to educational causes.

Problem

GLO wants to find the right retailers for its product. They need to significantly expand the product’s distribution.  They also had a need to ensure that their product was verifiably sustainable.

Solution

Singer Sustainability is working with GLO to develop its retail strategy, starting with initial meetings with Whole Foods Market to determine fit.  We are also developing a target list of other appropriate retailers.

Separately, we are leveraging our contacts with ties to manufacturing in Asia to ensure that the GLO products are manufactured in a completely sustainable manner.
